Rangoli at Tulasi kota

These designs or rangoli were kept during Karthika masam infront of Tulasi kota. Simple free hand design was drawn in  the left side pic and diyas are kept as part of pooja at tulasi kota. Similarly free hand design was drawn in the right side pic also along with using flowers.In both pics, tulasi kota was decorated using Turmeric, Kumkum and rice flour.

This is a free hand design, made with flowers and rangoli colours during karthika pournami time and kept diyas.

Small free hand design(s) were drawn in front of  tulasi kota as part of  friday pooja at tualsi kota as shown in these pictures. 
Tualsi kota was decorated using  Haldi(Turmeric), Kumkum and rice flour.

Put 9 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot.  Next draw the melikala muggu by passing through the dots as shown.

Put 10 dots in four lines, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 4 dots.  In middle flower pattern is drawn. Outside melikala pattern is drawn.

Deepavali muggu

This is free hand design. Drawn during Diwali using different colours. Kept diyas at 4 sides.


Deepam pattern muggu

Dots required for this muggu are 6x1.
Put 6 dots in one line, next  put dots in middle from next line onwards till 1 dot. Draw the  deepam pattern as shown in the pic starting from 2 dots line from bottom.Here free hand pattern border is drawn.

Put 5 dots in one line, next  put dots in middle, from next line onwards till 3 dots. Draw the lines passing through the 3 dots to form hexagon shape which is shown in the middle.
Next draw the triangle pattern at 6 sides outside.

Put 7 dots in two lines, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot.  Next draw the melikala muggu by passing through the dots.

Join the dots starting from 3 dots line at 4 sides, such that shape shown in the picture will be formed.It is very simple one. To make this muggu colorful, drawn small melikala border and added colors.

tippudu muggu

Dots required for this muggu are 8x2x2.
First put 8 dots in 2 lines, next leave one-one dot each side and put till 2 dots.
Draw the lines as shown in the pic. Here added the colors to make this simple muggu little colorful.  

chukkala muggu

Dots required for this muggu are 5x5. 
Put 5 dots in 5 lines in straight. Next put 2 dots in middle (madhya chukkalu) after the last line at four sides. Next put 1 dot in middle of 2 dots. 
Join the dots starting from 2 dots line from one side to other side of 2 dots diagonally, such that it will form triangle shape.

Free hand design

There are no specific dots kept to draw this muggu. This is free hand design. Four lines are drawn at four sides and joined them  as shown in the pic. At last added colours to make this design, bright and colourful.

Sankranti 2016 muggu

There are no specific dots kept to draw this muggu. First Pot pattern is drawn and aside to that, sugar cane pattern is drawn. After that at 4 sides, small tippudu border is drawn by putting 6x4x2 dots. At last added colours to make the muggu, bright and colourful.
