deepam at tulasi kota

This deepam pattern rangoli was kept at tulasi kota during kaarthika maasam. It's free hand design. Diyas and flowers were kept to make this simple rangoli little more bright.

This rangoli was kept at tulasi kota during kaarthika masam on kaarthika pournami. Rangoli or muggu shown in right side picture was drawn using 6 to 2 dots. Put 6 dots in two lines, next left one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 2 dots.  Next drawn the flower pattern using 2x2 dots at outside and drawn deepam pattern  using remaining dots. Muggu in star pattern shown in left side picture was drawn using 3 to 1 dots ( in middle).

Dots required for this tippudu muggu are 6x2x2. Put 6 dots in two lines, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 2 dots.  Next draw the melikala or tippudu or chikku  muggu by passing through the dots. Here melikala border is drawn and deepam pattern is drawn as border at four sides.

tulasi kota decoration


This rangoli was kept at tulasi kota during kaarthika maasam.
Tulasi kota was decorated by putting rangoli, flowers and diyas.

Dots required to put this are 5 to 1. Put 5 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot.  Next draw the melikala muggu by passing through the dots.  Here filled the muggu with colors and kept diyas.

This rangoli was drawn during karthika maasam at tulasi kota. Star pattern was drawn using 3 to 1 dots (in middle). Free hand design was drawn as border. Along with rangoli diyas are kept.
