chukkala muggu

Dots required for this muggu are 9x5.
First put the 9 dots in one line and next start putting the dots in between 2 dots (like middle or madhya chukkalu) from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next draw flower pattern in the middle and drawn free hand pattern at outsides.
Here I didn't draw the border explicitly, just drawn small free hand design in between line pattern design.

tippudu muggu

Dots required for this tippudu muggu are 13x1. Put 13 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next drawn the tippudu muggu by passing through the dots at 4 sides at outside. Next drawn small flower pattern at 4 sides. Here simple  border is drawn at 4 sides.

free hand design

No dots required for this muggu. This is free hand design. I have added color lines in this free hand design to make this simple design colorful. 

melikala muggu

Dots required for this muggu 9x1. Put 9 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next drawn the tippudu muggu by passing through the dots. Here simple border is drawn at 4 sides.Added color lines to  make this muggu little colorful.

Fruit basket muggu

Dots required for this muggu 7x4. This is simple muggu. I kept first 7 dots in one line, and kept dots in middle from next line onwards till 4 dots. Next drawn fruit basket pattern at 6 sides joining 2 diamond pattern shapes.Added small color lines in that.

Ratham muggu

I kept this Ratham (Charriot) muggu on Kanuma day(next day of Pongal/Sankranthi). First I kept 15 dots in 3 lines at the top side, next kept 11 dots in 2 lines, 7 dots in 2 lines,3 dots in 2 lines  at the above of 15 dots.Next kept 3 dots in 9 lines at left and right side and kept again 15 dots in 2 lines at bottom side. Next drawn the melikala muggu by passing through the dots. In the middle, I have added just simple design.

Sankranthi Muggu

Dots required for this muggu 19x1.
First I kept 19 dots in 1 line, next left one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and kept till 1 dot. Next I have drawn kalasham or pot (kunda in telugu) pattern at 4 sides. Next drawn Deepam pattern at outside in between the pot pattern. In middle I have drawn a leaf and melikala pattern. I have filled the colors in Pot, Deepam and in Leaf pattern. In melikala border I have just added color dots. I have chosen simple free hand design border at 4 sides and added color lines on that border. I have drawn this muggu on Sankranthi(Pongal) day.
