tippudu muggu

Dots required for this muggu : 10x4x4
To draw this muggu, first put the 10 dots in straight in 4 lines. Next put 4 dots in 3 lines by leaving 3 dots at each side. After that pass through the dots as shown in the pic. Here added colors to make this muggu little colorful. Outer line is drawn with maroon color.

Dots required for this tippudu muggu are 9x1
Put 9 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next draw the patterns as shown in pic. I have added colors to make this muggu little colorful.

Put 5 dots in 5 lines in straight.Here melikala muggu is drawn in side and outside, flower petals pattern is drawn.Simple border is drawn at four sides.

Tippudu muggu

Dots required for this tippudu muggu are 7x2x5x1.

First put 7 dots in 2 lines and next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next drawn the tippudu muggu by passing through the dots.  At above side, I have drawn one small deepam pattern and flower pattern. Here free hand border is drawn at 4 sides and added color to make this small muggu little colorful.

I have drawn these borders as welcome borders in front of home and added colors. I have drawn a wave pattern border along with small flower as shown in picture left side here. Added colors to make this simple border little colorful.

I have chosen  small flower pattern as border pattern and filled colors in that as shown right side here. Along with the border small free hand design is drawn and added colors in that.
One more border is drawn as shown below. For this border flower pattern is chosen and filled colors in that to make this border colorful.

Put 15 dots in 3 lines, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 3 dots. Next drawn the  closed swastika pattern  at 4 sides at outer side. Drawn a simple wave pattern free hand design and dawn small free hand pattern in yellow color at out sides.

This is a free hand design. First I have drawn swastika form in middle and free hand patterns are drawn at 4 sides.Next at 4 sides melikala border is drawn. Added colors at last.

This can be drawn as free hand design or with small dots 3x3.
First I kept 3 dots in 3 lines and drawn a small flower pattern. Next at 4 sides, free hand border is drawn. Again melikala border is drawn at 4 sides after free hand border. Added colors in this design to make this small design colorful.

In middle first I have drawn a small melikala muggu  with 3x1 dots and around those 4 sides, drawn a free hand design. Added colors in this design to make it colorful.
at outside, I have drawn a small melikala muggu again as a border for 4 sides.

Flower muggu


Dots required for this muggu :8x8.
To make this muggu put the 8 dots in 8 lines.Here in this muggu, 3 flowers are drawn from each flower pot at 4 sides. I have filled colors in this. Here simple border is drawn.

Deepam muggu

First start with 6 dots in one line and put the dots in between 2 dots from next line onwards (like madhya chukkalu) till 1dot.
Next draw the Deepam pattern as shown in the pic. With these dots total 4 deepam pattern are formed. Here Melikala border is drawn in contrast to the middle muggu.

temple pattern muggu

Dots required for this muggu are 12x2.
First put 12 dots in 2 lines and next leave one-one dot at each side from  next line onwards and put till 2 dots. Next drawn some lamp pattern in the middle using 6x6 dots. At 4 sides, outside, melikala muggu is drawn using 6x4x2 dots. Here border is not drawn. This muggu is formed in the pattern of 4 sides of temple (like gopuram pattern).

Dots required for this muggu are 9x5.
First put the 9 dots in one line and next start putting the dots in between 2 dots (like middle or madhya chukkalu) from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. Next draw flower pattern in the middle and drawn free hand pattern at outsides.
Here I didn't draw the border explicitly, just drawn small free hand design in between line pattern design.

Dots required for this muggu 7x4. This is simple muggu. I kept first 7 dots in one line, and kept dots in middle from next line onwards till 4 dots. Next drawn fruit basket pattern at 6 sides joining 2 diamond pattern shapes.Added small color lines in that.

Ratham muggu

I kept this Ratham (Charriot) muggu on Kanuma day(next day of Pongal/Sankranthi). First I kept 15 dots in 3 lines at the top side, next kept 11 dots in 2 lines, 7 dots in 2 lines,3 dots in 2 lines  at the above of 15 dots.Next kept 3 dots in 9 lines at left and right side and kept again 15 dots in 2 lines at bottom side. Next drawn the melikala muggu by passing through the dots. In the middle, I have added just simple design.

Sankranthi Muggu

Dots required for this muggu 19x1.
First I kept 19 dots in 1 line, next left one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and kept till 1 dot. Next I have drawn kalasham or pot (kunda in telugu) pattern at 4 sides. Next drawn Deepam pattern at outside in between the pot pattern. In middle I have drawn a leaf and melikala pattern. I have filled the colors in Pot, Deepam and in Leaf pattern. In melikala border I have just added color dots. I have chosen simple free hand design border at 4 sides and added color lines on that border. I have drawn this muggu on Sankranthi(Pongal) day.

Flower muggu

Dots required for this muggu 15x1.
First I kept 15 dots in 1 line, next left one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and kept till 1 dot. Next I have drawn leaf pattern at outsides and flower  pattern in between those.I have chosen melikala border , one is with 7x7 dots and again drawn one small melikala pattern at outside. Finally I have added color lines inside this muggu.

Sankranthi Muggu

Dots required for this muggu : 11x6
First put the 11 dots in one line, next put the one-one dot in between 2 dots from next line onwards and put till 6 dots. Put these dots at both sides of 11 dots line(this will be said like madhya chukkalu). Next I have drawn flower pattern in this complete muggu and filled different colors in each flower pattern. I have drwan this muggu on Bhogi day.Here I have drawn melikala border.

Next I have drawn flower  pattern at left and right side and leaf pattern at up and down side. I have chosen melikala border at outside. Finally I have added color lines inside this muggu.

Next I have drawn the melikala muggu by passing through the dots at 4 sides at outside and joined all these again using melikala pattern only  inside. Next I have drawn small diamond shape design in between the melikala muggu.  Border I have drawn to have resemblance with main inside muggu. Finally I have added some colors.

Tippudu muggu

I have drawn  this muggu with combination of Deepam, Pot and melikala muggu pattern. 
Dots  or chukkalu(in Telugu) required to make this muggu are 11x1.
First put 11 dots in one line, next leave one-one dot at each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot at both up and down sides of 11 dot line. Here I have drawn Deepam pattern at 4 sides and in between those of 2 deepam, next drawn a pot format pattern. In middle I have drawn a melikala muggu. Border here again I have chosen a wave pattern with free hand design on that.I didn't use more colors in this muggu as I wanted to have this muggu as simple one.

Here I have drawn a muggu with combination of butterflies and melikala muggu. 
Dots required to make this muggu are 9x1.
First put 9 dots in one line  and leave one-one dot from each side from next line on wards and put till 1 dot. I have drawn butterflies at 2 sides only at top and at bottom side. Next drawn melikala muggu at both left and right side including middle.  Here I have chosen melikala muggu at sides, in middle such that butterflies are drawn in symmetry form (like one at top and one at bottom side). I have drawn border with wave type pattern at 4 sides and drawn a welcome border type on the top of this muggu.

new year muggu

Happy New year to all the visitors of this blog.
 
I have kept this free hand design infront of home on the new year 2015 starting day. First I have kept small tippudu (or melikala) muggu inside with 5 to 1 dots.
Next I have kept small free hand design (in flower pattern) to both sides of tippudu muggu.
Border I have drawn only at the bottom instead of drawing at 4 sides. On the top just I have added again small free hand design.Finally I have  added colours to make this muggu/free hand design colourful.It will take less time only to draw this muggu.
